Tom Falke, a native of Weimar, possesses a wealth of country property experience. A people person, he adds depth of skill to any transaction table-“listening”being the key to his success in getting a job done in the right manner.
A country boy at heart, Tom moved to Austin for his education, earning his Bachelor’s degree in Government. He returned to the country for its quality of life and his love of rural Texas. It was here that he married his wife Judy in 1973, and raised his family, supporting the effort through his first career as a US Postmaster serving the towns of Industry, New Ulm and Weimar.
Honest, fair minded, detailed and trustworthy are all words that have defined this individual through years of serving his community both on a professional and personal level. An active member of Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Dubina (one of the area’s famous”painted churches”) Tom’s contributions have been appreciated by Knights of Columbus, his parish church, and numerous organizations including the Lion’s Club. ”I was raised to ‘give back’,” says Tom. Doing so gives me a deep sense of peace.
In his spare time, Tom enjoys spending it with his lifetime partner, Judy. They camp, hunt and work the farm together. They also ride bikes and like to dance polkas and waltzes.
