When Brian and Stephanie Jamison set out to find property, they had several goals in mind. They wanted to be closer to their kids and grandchildren in Austin, and needed to be able to access the property easily from Houston. They contacted Realtor and longtime friend Jack Maddox with Heritage Texas Country Properties who showed them several building sites in the areas of New Ulm, Cat Spring, Burton, and Washington County. Ultimately, the couple chose a tract of land just south of Round Top, Texas. The land includes a lake, trails woods and varying elevations. The couple said this property reminded them of their travels to upstate New York where they had formed many happy family memories and they hope this place will serve as a family gathering spot for generations to come.
